The architectural framework for this concept, described herein, has been developed to high detail by Liebowitz & Partners. Likewise, we have outlined a realistic technical envelop within which a yacht builder can help to produce the Specification, and in turn, pricing. With our creative materials, that process could occur relatively quickly.

The combination of easy-going hullform, versatile deck spaces, large yacht tenders, effective crew circulation, and logical service layout make an effective leisure machine.

External Envelope: Offering timeless, practical values.

With five decks, including the Fitness Gym atop and Tank Deck below, correctly organising the guest accommodation, engine room, beach club, yacht tenders, crew apartment, boarding systems, galley, plus circulation systems, results in a truly engaging three-dimensional environment.

Artful and practical solutions. Hosting family and guests for extended periods on board brings inter-active challenges. The C57 concept is conceived with a range of relaxation choice within large and intimate spaces.The bow deck lounge hosts one of the two spa pools aboard. Further forward, a raised seating group is positioned ahead of the foremast for a thrilling view underway.

Outdoor spatial variety. Pool deck with shaded drinks bar. The 4.7 metre / 16 foot long saltwater heated pool is prelude to sunbathing one deck up.

Effective deck planning: Sundeck with fore and AFT Lounges. Movement of guests and crew flow logically, with action areas easily accessible to all.

Above, the “instant response” rescue tender, is set in a functional arrangement that saves space. In the rare event that a crew member or guest were in trouble, this 17 foot / 5.4metre Zodiac-type craft can be launched in seconds, with the pre-programmed robotic davit at the ready. The stair as depicted, will elevate its angle to permit tender extraction from its tailored well. On a daily basis, the craft can be used to ferry crew or provisions, and as a maintenance barge.

The steel hull is complemented by a lightweight aluminium deckhouse, for a “lower centre of gravity”, resulting in more comfortable motion, and an idealised roll period. As an explorer yacht, the vessel can be ordered to various ice-class specifications. These would start with an ice-strengthened hull, to increasingly robust polar-roving provisions.
